I recently purchased this portafilter and had high hopes based on its appearance and feel. In terms of design, it’s sleek and feels great in the hand—steady, with a nice weight. However, after only one use, I noticed that the black coating on the area where it locks into the machine has already begun scraping off. That was disappointing, as I expected a more durable finish. I’m not sure if this is typical or if I received a defective item, but it’s something worth noting for potential buyers. I’ll be reaching out to see if this is a known issue or if there’s a solution. Beyond that, I love the feel and would like to keep using it if the coating issue can be resolved. In short: great design, but I’m hoping for more durability! Especially for the cost, I would hope that it would be more durable and would expect it to keep its look and paint.

Fantastic! Improved my espresso to cafe level! I bought the Bottomless Portafilter and combined with the new Precision Gold Basket and that took it to the next level. Great service, fast delivery and high quality product. Can’t fault Hypergrind and have bought from them twice more already.

Apart from looking great it works really well also. I alsobought the matching self leveling tamper. Now my pours are really consistent and taste so much better. I also bought the Coffee Tamping Station & Knock Box which it didn't initially fit but a 30 cent m10 black washer from bunnings fixed that and now I have an amazing set

V cool v sleek

Have been using the original one for 5 years now and thought I’d try something different. Best decision ever, can see the difference and coffee taste amazing. The rosewood handle looks great and being bottomless makes it a lot easier to clean.

It took me a little time to get the coffee to pour like the videos, but have it set up perfectly now and the taste is amazing, it really is the best way to see if you have everything set up correctly and it's very satisfying to see the coffee pour so perfectly into the cup.

Beautiful portafilter. Looks awesome in my Breville Bambino. Just have to tweak the grind so my coffee isn't spraying everywhere when I pull a shot.
