We're David and Jordan, lifelong mates with a shared a passion for coffee for over 20 years, and that passion inspired us to create Hypergrind.
Our goal is to bring the joy of the coffee-making process into your home. For us, coffee isn’t just a drink; it’s a ritual that starts with choosing your favourite beans and ends with that perfect, homemade cup.

We have an Ascaso Steel Duo machine and were looking to purchase a bottomless portafilter. It is difficult to find a compatible portafilter for this machine, particularly in Australia, however the Hypergrind team were incredibly helpful. We recently purchased this portafilter and can confirm that it fits the Ascaso Steel Duo PID - we have been using this for about a month with perfect espresso. Highly recommend this product and this amazing small family business. Outstanding quality and excellent customer service!!

The portafilter that came with my machine felt cheap, and I was after something that felt like it was good quality and could withstand all the coffee I drink! It's taken a bit to get used to as I haven't had an open basket before but I am glad I made the purchase!
